is it possible to fit a pto winch from a 55 series cruiser to a 85 lux. have found one cheap and was wondering is this an option or just go with an electric one cheers shayne

hilux transfer case doesnt have a pto output, so unless your running a cruiser box/transfer save your sheckles. Unless its a steal, buy it, clean it up and sell it on here to make some profit.

Yes you can. 83lux had a PTO transfer for sale out of a hilux. don't know if he still has it.

Lots of t cases from 4 speeds have the pto cover plate. BUT the hard part is finding the pto drive gear and box for them :shock:

This company in Italy makes a PTO unit thats bolts to the side of the hilux transfers with the pto port

good luck getting one, there might be an agent in Aussie tho , none in NZ, so I didnt go any further with it.
