what diff to put in hilux v8 and v6

want to know what diff ratio to put in a hilux with a v8 308 was told to use a desiel diff and what will be the rev sitting at 100km /h i'm converting it from a 3y motor

what is the best ratio or what have others have used
what model hilux should i get it from


a mate has a v6 and running desiel diffs and rev to 3000 on 100km/h what diff do we meed to drop the revs

there both standard 5 speed

Get the ratios from a 2003 turbo.
I think they are 3.79.
Please correct if wrong.

These will cut the RPM down for a V8

Whats in there now
Ln106 diffs are 4.3 or 4.8(Optional)
Chances are now YN65 series fitted with 3y it'll be 4.8's (Just what a parts program is telling me)
plenty of parts on the bench
