Jackaroo diff ratio's

Post by corndale1 »

Jackaroo diff ratio's.... We have a 90 model LWB 2.6L petrol with auto box, I am thinking that maybe a similar model Rodeo's diff centres may have different ratios due to it being a commercial vechicle, does anyone know if this is the case and will the Rodeo diff centre fit into the Jackaroo diff ??? I looked at my diff but couldn't make out what ratio I currently have but I could definatly do with a better ratio for that slow crawling work we all love to do.

You could try this, it will only affect the low range gearing high will stay the same.

thanks for the advise... sounds like a great idea. I fitted a Calmini 3 inch suspension lift kit and it works great, heaps of travel in rear but limited in front, hope to fit a locker or two in the future. If you guys have any other good ideas I would love to hear them. There is a company in Australia that still makes and sells snorkels and long range tanks, will try to find their number and will post it on the forum soon.
