Air tool oiler
Hey all,
Sorry if this in the wrong section but it seemed the most logical.
I just purchased a Project Air air compressor to run a rattle gun and spray gun mainly. My issue is with the rattle gun as it comes with an inline oiler and i am concerned that oil may pass back into the hose. This will become a problem when im spray painting as i dont want oil to contaminate the finish.
Can anyone who has been in my situation give me an idea on what they are doing.
Cheers appreciate the help.

Yea thats what i was thinking but was not sure whether to add a drop or two into the air inlet or in the oil hole. The rattle gun i have has a oil hole in the side that has a grub screw that u can pull out.
What u think...

The hole in the side is for grease. Put it into the inlet of the air tool and you will be sweet matesanger wrote:Yea thats what i was thinking but was not sure whether to add a drop or two into the air inlet or in the oil hole. Well just going off past experience as i work with air tools everyday. My Wurth rattle gun has a grease hole on the side which you use a little grease gun to fill it.sanger wrote:Thanks guys ill give the few drops in the inlet a go.
Chunks my rattle gun says oil on the side not grease so your comment surprises me.
