sierra grease points?

Post by Brendan-s »

after pressure washing the mud off the car last weekend it's been squeaking really loudly. No worries I think, I'll go get some grease from Supercheap and hit up the grease points... so I do... and um... what grease points exactly would they be? I can't actually find any under the Zook!

Should I just pump a heap of grease in between the leaves? Help, the noise is driving me mad!

there are grease pont's on all the drive shaft flanges. as for the springs I reckon flex the car up so you get full droop, you should be able to get some grease between the leaves.

I found it was the shackle bushes squeaking in my old zook. Now i got greasable shackles so i can grease them up regularly. No squeaks and they move nice n smooth

if you have poly bushes they will squeak after a while.. bit of lithium grease on the bushes and on the bolts through them should be enough for a while.

thanks for the tips guys. i pumped the unis full, and got the hi-lift out and opened the leaf packs up and packed them full too... no change! might have to get onto some greasable shackles soon, my old MQ had em and they were awesome.
