92 ford mavarick
i put the window down on passenger side today and it now will not go up moter is turning but nothing is happening
has any one got any idears as it is along w/end and not able to get to auto elec till wed need to be able to lock car up

the cogs in the mechanisms have stripped, its happened to both my rear windows. you have to buy the whole unit. i just ripped them out of my doors and jammed the windows shut with a piece of electrical conduit.

if u can get a normal window winder you can take the door trim off and take the motor of the window and wind it manually, even a set of vice grips or a pair of pliers will get the job done but u may hurt the spline on the regulator

mate if your handy with a welder and a bit mechanicaly minded you can fix it
once u pull it right apart you will see why

i did my drivers window 2 years ago and still going strong

no way. if it is electric you have stripped the small plastic gear from motor to reg. about $20 from nissan.. look first
build em tuff, drive em ruff.........

very rare to strip the plasic cog, i put money on the reg has gone to far and teeth wont grab. easy fix just replace the regulator 2nd hand $75 30min job
