Its a 89 TD Toyota Bundera. The Diff is a 4.88. I dont do skids however its no longer a TD its got a lexus v8 pushing it nowbazzle wrote:What model Diff?
What model/make of vehicle??
Pin may shear if cross shaft picks up on side gear.
Normally caused by doing wheelies on open diff.

Yep I've done 2 RD01's
Know a bloke who did one only last week and that was a RD23 in the front of an 80.
I think an RD01 only has one end of the main cross shaft pinned to the locker housing. Where as I think (not certain on this) that a RD23 has both ends pinned.
Having the unpinned end drilled and pinned would help with keeping it all together so the broken end doesn't floot in and out hitting the pinion.
