LED Internal Light - Hilux ?

The interior light in my Hilux has shyt itself ( could be wireing ) I used to replace the globes but now I couldnt be bothered -- just use a torch. Someone recently told me that you can get an LED interior light that will fit in the same position as the old one ? I went to the Motor Parts place, and they said that they have different types and shapes, but nothing that fits into the old position on my Hilux ( 85 model ) I dont mind if I have to modify anything in the car. Is there one that could fit my model car ? If the wireing is shot, and have to fix it up I would rather re-do it with an LED light that the old type.

There are now replacement globes, that simply have 3 LEDs in them instead of a filament.
No modifications required at all.
I vaguely remember I saw them at AutoPro.

Alternatively,
I have two of the battery operated, press on, press off, self adhesive 3-LED discs that you find for a couple of dollars on the hanging displays at Bunnings/woolies, etc, attached to the rear side windows in my Troll, and they light the back section of the Troll up more than well enough, in fact normally just one is enough.
I also "JB Metal Weld" glued some good strong magnets to the back of another couple of them, and have them permanently under the bonnet. They can be moved around the car as needed, and have stayed put through all manner of shocks so far.

CameApart also sell some cheap DIY, one two and three LED lights that can be hardwired in, complete with switch and wiring, for very little, that make good glovebox lights, footwell lights, underbonnet lights, wherever you can think of lights.
Rabbit here has one in his glovebox and one in the footwell for passengers who drop things.
