G60 Aftermarket Gauge Cluster?
Has anybody put an aftermarket gauge cluster in their G60's? Im talking like autometer, equus, etc.

Its no more crazy than my buddy putting an EFI Ford 302/C6 in his 76 International Scout II.
Im actually pretty surprised as to how cheap an aftermarket cluster is. I was at the parts store yesterday, and was looking at iEquus' new line of aftermarket gauges. Most gauges werent much more than an hour's pay. Its looking really viable considering the fact that Im running a GM fuel tank now because it takes up less space in the back, and the simple fact that that it has a high pressure fuel pump for future EFI means its likely to make a home in the back of my Patrol.
But if nobody has done it before, I guess Ill just jump into it and see where it gets me!

Chimboy- All my gauges are there, but Im unsure as to whether or not any but the fuel gauge work.
The wires were hooked up to the stock sensors, and they were hooked up to the gauges. However, they didnt work. I got one of those triple gauge pods from the parts store with an ammeter, mechanical temp gauge, and mechanical oil pressure gauge.
And now that Ive gotten rid of the stock fuel tank(a guy on RMP&O needed it more than I did, plus I needed something that took up less space between my rear fender wells. So now I have a GM fuel tank out of, I think a full-size pickup. Im using an S-10 sending unit with a high-pressure fuel pump for my future EFI system.
I seriously doubt that GM and Nissan used the same ohm readings at full, and since I already have the aftermarket oil pressure, ammeter, and temp gauges, Im seriously considering a custom cluster.
I was kind of hoping to see if somebody had already done the same so that I may have help making my decision.
Im betting that if I tried, I could probably figure out a way to transplant the Nissan rheostat onto the GM sending unit assembly.
Im just weighing my options...
