Hi!
I've a prado with 2" lifted springs, and when the rear is articulating at some angle the tailshaft meets the fuel tank (on the side of the tailshaft). It particularly rubs on the fuel tank shield. It ripped one of the grease nipples off. I suppose it's an easy fix to cut the shield back a bit, and massage the tank with a hammer if necessary. I had this before with my '88 surf. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and how they fixed it?
PS: the panhard rod is standard, but I don't think that is the problem. A longer one would only bring the tailshaft closer to the tank.
