how much lift will i need to fit 36-37" tires on a 60 series wagon

and to the search nazi's i did a search but couldnt find the info i am after.

Hey mate. Here are a couple of pics of a 60 with 37z. The guy who ownes this works at a local 4wd shop. It has a 4" belton lift, a 2" bodylift and some trimming.

is therer any chance of getting more info on this 60 series as it is just the way i want mine. what motor? what diff ratios? any other mods?

It is pretty much stock standard except for the suspension. Dual Fuel, standard diffs.

Also the option of a SOA (depending on your state), go to www.ih8mud.com and search

Might want to think about if your going to keep the motor standard (and or upgade it)

dropping your diff ratios to 4.88's, or
dropping the ratio in the transfercase
Upgrading the cv's to something thats more durable


all i can think atm, but i just got up.

from the 4th foto down it also looks like it has no uptravel in the front.
maybe its just my eyes
its just a scratch, she'll buff out

Tyres hitting springs on lock is an issue.

i am thinking of doing 3" suspension 2" body and 2"longer shackles which will give me 6" of total lift so that should be enough for 36" tires and reasonable flex

I doubt the part of reaonable flex .. the front inner fender in 60 series are tight ..

Actually with 37" SO 2.5 OMEs and SR need to do some cut in the front fender to clear the 37" at full flex ..
