Hilux A/t choice

Post by Lux_89 »

Hey guys. Prolly has been asked b4 but couldnt find it. Ive got a single cab hilux that is dd. Gets a workout on the weeknd on pretty much every terrain..ive got some new silent armous that came on it and they are a great tire, i want a 32 inch tyre, and im thinking all terrain to save the whole tyre swapping rubbish. So basically my qustion being, from experince or knowing, what a/t tyre would be the best for a solid hilux? Also how would the cooper stt's go on my lux? Cheers guys

They hopefully would go round and round...

You need to think what you want from a tyre. A 'normal' type A/T won't cut it for very long if you do some harder driving in the bush and mud etc.

Most popular intermediate choices are Goodyear MTRs and Mickey MTZ at the moment.

I still get pretty far on the at's ive got so thats why im considering at's, no tyre swapping and judt lock bth ends (air) so i can daily drive comfortably. i really want them disco st's but they dont make 32''. Spewin. and wouldnt mind the atz mickey t but again no 32. cant win.

You just said
yeh i no all bout mud tires been there done that
And then asked about the STT mud tyres :?

I think BFG MT are the longest wearing M/T by most reports.

So what type of tyre do you want?? Do you know?
