efi stalling.

Post by Dozoor »

Have had the dash out of my WJ for around four weeks , finally got the
thing back together

went to start it had a near flat battery but did start ,
once it warmed up a bit i brought the revs up to 2200 for a few minutes , which im told resets the managment , well it dosn,t run quite right
it has stalled a few times ,

should i have done somthing different as far as reconnecting the battery ect ?

no.... disconecting the battery on them only clears the codes, dosent affect how they run,and i havent ever hurd of running them at hi revs to rest the eng management(battery diconected already does this), I would be looking for some thing else, i would take it in to jeep and get them to chuck there computer (DRB3) on it to check and retreive codes from it, would also be checking the wiring around the dash, as u have just played with it you could have pinched a wire.... good luck
