hilux 2.8 turbo trouble
just fitted ct20 turbo to my 2.8 hilux took for drive running 8 pound boost but dosnt seem to make any differance ,exhaust isnt fitted should it make a differance? any help would be gratefull.

You need to add fuel, at LEAST 1 full turn

with this is there much difference in fuel consumption after a couple months of having a turbo fitted? first long trip i got 400km to a 3/4 of a tank then next trip smae distance and road i used a full tank sitting roughly on same speed with same fuel.

Not 3L specific .. but at least I need to add 2 1/2 complete turns at my IP to feel the diference ..

how's about using a pryo or one of those laser thermos to measure your egt's. If it's not getting hot enough you're not getting enough fuel if you're getting too hot wind it back. Drive it up a long steep hill and quickly measure it once you hit the top. Let it all wind down coming down the hill and repeat till you get the right egt's. Or you could do something similar at night with some car headlights behind you wind it up till you see the heat coming off your mirror and then back it off so it just starts to disappear when you load her up and give it some.
