Fiber gears in 3f

Post by outlandy »

does anyone know of any failures in the fiber camshaft gears. I know that red holden motors have em and they are prone to failure around 60000km I just dont want to be ringing the RAC from halfway up a dirty great big hill

I have over 300,000 on my 3F engine in a 1985 FJ62 Wagon. Never any problem with the camshaft gears.
