i got hilux diffs under my zook now and am running pidliy vitara powersteering with 35" beadlocked wheels , now after a bit of a play i have taco'ed my tie rod , so i am after a new item not a std one as they are both smaller in diameter and material thickness than a narrow track seirra one how weak is that a zook tie rod std beefier than the spagetti on the luxes ? anyhow what have people done to combat this have you just sleeved the existing tierod with thick walled tube , or just bought after market ?
also i believe the snake one run different rod ends ? is there any mods needed to fit them or is the taper the same just bigger joints ?
$300 alot for a tierod (snake ) any others out there cheaper but still strong ?
Cheers Jai

About half way down the page.
Superior ones run 80 series tierod ends and also need a dampener bracket
(Think it somes with it) if still running it in std toyota position Best bet tho would be hi steer as it'll be up above the diff and you'll be going to bend it there
