does anyone know if you can change the timing on a 1fz-fe for LPG and be able to switch it back for petrol , with out spending a fortune on after market ECU's

You can not, and the best option is a dual map unichip for $1400.

Timing on my 100 series 1FZ-FE is a big old pain in the backside.

Go with either a dual-map unichip, or a programmable (electronic) LPG system.

I have a single map Unichip and a electronic LPG injection system, and I think it's just about the best of both worlds.


I wish I could tune the Unichip myself though... :(
