GQ rear shock/coil contact...Q.??

Post by MUD EMPIRE »

When you upgrade GQ coils and shocks, the coils are larger over all diameter
and the shocks (usually) are also bigger..............has anyone found a way to stop the
two coming into contact with eachother..??

I have Dobinson coils and the OME shocks 'bit the dust'.

New shock now in place......ready to be 'eaten' by the coil when articulating.....

I had the same issue with Lovell coils and dobsion shocks ended up spacing out the bottom shock mount.

Yep longer lower arms, and maybe a small shock spacer if needed.
