86 4runner radiator

Post by Froon »

Quick question... I was doing a coolant change today on my runner, went to open the tap at the bottom of the radiator and it was firmly stuck... gave it a bit of force and the entire thing came off (metal base and all)... Tried to fit it again and can't form a seal - Is the base supposed to come away from the radiator?
