Long Range Fuel tank for GU TD42

Post by Wilko76 »

Hi All

Wanting to get a long range tank for the GU. Can anyone recommend a reputable mob in Brissie to install?
Is it possible to also keep your main tank and use it as the sub or is it removed to make room for the new tank?

A mate and I just came back from Fraser (he has a prado) and the range he has is awsome. did the whole island and we still had half a tank once we got off the island.

Thanks for your suggestions and help

Depends where you live any of the northside TJM stores do it ask for Derick at Enoggera shop, or Brad at Brendale or Jane at Caboolture you won't fit the main in the area where the sub is, I replaced my sub with the LRA 75 litre I get 73 back out and about 1500klm with the 165 litres all up. but I only get 1100 towing the buggy

do it yourself there was a thread in NIssan section on it recently.
If you can work spanners and screw driver you will succeed. Failing that, who ever you buy it from, screw them for free fitting.
