'Lecky aerial on 91 GXL 80

Post by ash_on_mtb »

Like many I'm sure, I've got a snazzy button on the dash for the 'lecky aerial, but she don't work mate...

Whats the story with these things? Are they a novelty? Is there something that regulalary breaks? Are they cheap (toyota - hah!) to replace?

Who's had some good experiences? I'd like to be able to at least make it go up and down, would certainly improve my radio reception, and drown out the tyres...!

Cheers,
