Sealing Fuel tank

Post by BASSYK »

i have replaced the fuel pump in my patrol and need to know what to use to seal the plate that the fuel pump is on to the fuel tank

i dont want to use silicon as i know it gets eaten away by petrol , is there another product i can use or should i just try to make a gasket

it is an aftermarket 160L tank and still uses the factory fuel pump and mount
