Adjustable for finding the best rate or adjustable for on/offroad?
Adjustable rate ones are quite common on race cars, changing the mount point of the pushrod to the bar seems to be the most common way.
For on/off road I considered not a straight disconnect, but rather using a lockable damper. When you want the stability it'd be locked, but unlocked it'd still allow full articulation, but a decent amount of stability too.
