I now it's the same turbo for 3 aplications .. and also know from experience that the CT26 that come from Supra engine can make boost as same as factory 1HD-T Ct26 ..
Atually ( and make sense ) the Supra CT26 make boost too far much later in the 1HD-T engine .. something close to 3 k rpm ..
Never try by my own a MR2 CT26 .. but if I see less displacement in the MR2 engine ( compared to the Supra engine ) means to me it's designed to make more boost with less exhaust flow ..
Can be compared to the exhaust flow of the 1HD-T .. ?

The ct26 in the supra has thesame exhaust turbinel as a hdft but the 1hdft turbine housing is smaller than the supra....the supra compresser wheel is 4mm larger in inner diameter. I took the supra front compresser housing and wheel and put it on my hdft turbo, fit straight on, heaps of boost...10 psi at 1800 now, no more lag than normal.
The MR2 ct26 has ceramic turbine but smaller diameter...it also has twin entry turbine housing...all good for fast spool for comparison, the hdfte ct26 has same turbine wheel size as 1hdt and mr2...but it has same front compresser size as supra...so they boost at real low revs...but suffer up higher revs from lack of breathing... the best combination is a large waistegate and a small turbine, so if you got the MR2 turbo and made an exhaust manifold that incorperated a external waistegate, you would get best boost low down, where diesels like to run, and good power at revs. or a std hdfte turbo from a 100 series and make the waistegate valve larger

Thanks for your info .. it's very usefull ..
Just to clear ..
Turbine side are the same between Supra and 1HD-T . ?
If I use the Supra CT-26 with the 1HD-T CT-26 internals get the same performance as factory 1HD-T CT-26 ..?
Bolting straight the MR2 CT-26 in 1HD-T engine will function and get better boost at low rpm .. ?
The external wastegate don't reallly botter me, I have one factory CT-26 wategate and onther, so I can play with this part ..
One more thing .. the turbine bolt pathern from Surpa and MR2 CT-26 are the same as 1HD-T exhaust manifold ..
