Automatic tranfer case / manual transer case

Post by Donald2 »

I have an 4L automatic tranfer case and a 2.5L manual tranfer case .

Question

I want to fit on the 2.5L manual tranfer case the Hi-Part time-full time-low from the 4L automatic

Does it fits or i will have problems on fitting it ????

I assume you are talking TJ?
ie NV231 - in which case you will find that the input shaft has a different spline count.

IF you are talking XJ then.
I believe (not 100%) the NV242 in the 4L petrol has the same splincecount as the Diesel NV231.

Clear as mud? ;)
