problem selecting gears

Post by rocky-td »

Hello
I put the gearstick in the rocky today and found that it's stuck in gear :bad-words: . I didn't think to check that the selectors were working before I put the new gearbox in. I think I may have stuffed it when I removed/refittted the transfer case?

Anyone know any tricks to save me pulling the transfer and possibly the gearbox out again?
Thanks

I sorted out the shifting issue, the selector on the back of the 'box wasn't centred. It's shifting OK now, just have to put the transfer back on.

Well do I know that sinking feeling........

Some times a "bex and a good lie down" are about the most productive things you can do

Glad to hear its coming together.
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.
