What is a 3.4?

The engine is fantastic. It has a few little problems but they are mostly easy fixes. tune the carbs and replace the lifters. It rattles real bad at times. As for power it will smoke 38/12.5 TSLs and 4.1 diff gears with no problems in high range. Has aprox 200HP. Sounds awsome at about 6000RPM
Cant realy say how much better it has made it offroad as i have done so many other mods over the past year and its also a lot lighter.

The coil rear end is awsome. Its so smooth to drive now and it gets no axle hop when you are on it. The new leaves in the front are real soft and soak up most everything and the ranchos handle the rebound real well.

I floped it on the above ledge but i prob had the closest go at getting up it other than the Mogrover that just ate it. POS flopped twice and Bj floped once.

There was movement at the Station, for the word had got around!!!!! :D

The Turn up was about 30-35 Rigs, all ready to "GET IT" :)

There was everything from Unlocked Pristine Bundera (bundyboy) to the MIGHT of the ROCKRAIL!!!

First STOP Cruiser Canyon!!!

Everyone went threw in single file (no Carnage yet), the action was building up for something HUGE!!!!

BJ was first to take the Hardest LINE!!!

With all his NEW FOUND POWER he woowed the onlookers into a frenzy!! With the Mighty rumble of the lexus V8 he was into it!! Then all of a sudden she slipped around and was close to FLOPPING!!!

Not one to be SHY he kept the POWER on to try and drive out of it, BUT to no avail and over she went.    Quick to react he snapped reverse and with a little help was back on ALL FOURS!!!!

Next Up was RUFF!!!

Just hot out of the BOOTIE workshop. Not one to back away from the challenge that had be set he followed BJ'S line.

He was close but the outcome was the same as BJ's, The second FLOP of the weekend and we had only just hit the first Obstacle!!!

SO WHO'S UP NEXT!!!

POS, well most of you know my track record in regards to flops. So i will keep it short!!!

Same Obstacle, Same result!!! ANOTHER FLOP!!!

SO POS back on all fours backs down!!!!

SAME OBSTACLE, SAME LINE, SAME RESULT!!!!!

Thats Now four flops in the first 2 hours of driving time!!!

SO WHO DOES THAT LEAVE!!!

YUP you guessed it the MOGROVER!!!

Being the SMART ARSE that he is picked a slightly better line (NOTE: Only available due to DIFF clearance :bad-words: )  AND DROVE IT !!!!!!!

I got no pics as i was too busy driving. After 12months without a drive you dont want to get out.

Jake got heaps of pics that he should be posting tomorrow when he gets home and Singo17 got heaps also but it may be at least a week or more before he posts his as he is travelling to WA.

It was an awsome turn out. We had 15 rigs stacked on top of each other.
Thanks to all that made the trip.I hope everyone enjoyed them selves and for those that didnt make it you all missed out on the free for all to everyone there today to drive either My rig,Pos's,BJ's or the mogrover. Lots of people took the chance and i can see a lot of people are now keen to start building up similar rigs. Also thanks to the guys from QLD Rockrawling for comming up and joining in on some of the fun it was good to have you all there.

Incredible weekend and some awesome driving. I dont think I have ever driven as hard as what I was doing on Saturday. Carnt believe I didnt break anything - it was a totaly insane weekend.

Funniest thing for me was watching the video (wasnt there to see it in real life) of Bubs stacking rocks for Scott when Scott was driving my mogrover. You just got to see the video on this one - carnt believe how something so simple and easy can get the mogrover stuck.

Coolest thing was BJ driving this ledge that no else could. I tried for about 20 minutes trying to drive it, had smoke pouring off all 4 tyres and I couldnt make it. Time to get some rear steer I think - that'll fark him.

The video will be incredible.

1 word "AWESOME"

great weekend had a ball, was good, driving through cruiser canyon unlocked on bald 30" tyres, no damage except for bending the rear bumper support bracket on sunday.

Thanks Rob for letting me have a go at the Rockrail, awesome piece of machinery.

We were there in full comp filming mode, we shot all the action over the weekend and will go into production as soon as we source some tunes for the soundtrack (open to all bands/groups to submit some music).

Too many highlights to mention - witnessing the absolute strength of the mogrover to handle whatever hard line Sam decided to place it in (and there were many of those) although I think the mouth of the MOGROVER is now ruined after 83 LUX had his way with it; POS finessing it in cruiser canyon - had about 500grams of ground pressure on the front tyre and driving forward(just before the flop), BJ's awseome one shot run up 'BRAKE PEDAL RUBBER LEDGE'; Mogrover servicing the POS, (I had trouble holding the camera still I was laughing that hard); RUFF briefly revealing that deep down he is a crawler  , then snapping second and proving that real men rev at 6000 rpm and easily driving the ledge; V8ZUKI in his new rubicon CJ8 taking the hard options, the only thing missing was the straw hat...; driving the AREA54 rig through 'crusher dust gorge' on sunday morning and gettin' it...

Saturday night I set up the Rock theatre for everyone to watch the footage we shot that day - the atmosphere was awesome! Thanks to CJer for use of his genny for the power supply and for helping with the setup.

A big 'THATS TOPS' has got to go the A class guys, they let almost everyone drive their rigs on Sunday morning (even Chick54), one of the comments from the female drivers: " I can now see the adrenaline rush you guys get out of it, that was just awesome". That's good news, makes it easier to justify the buggy to the better half now, hey guys...
