sticky power window...

Post by DSzuke »

does anyone have any ideas how to fix a power window that sticks when winding up?

The mechanism works but it really struggles to start. :?

graphite powder in the window frame where the window runs will help but probably wont 'fix' it

use a silicon spray then use the graphite powder . the powder will stick to the spray so it last heaps longer. worx a treat.

slip and shine is good stuff, but your rubber could be stuffed, if it gets stuck at a certain point then you might have loose screws on channel etc, just basics to start
