/me waits for the "dont buy one, airlockers are better" bullshit to start
sorry built4, the 4wd systems lokka is very similar and about $500, doubt you would have any strength issues in the zook. not sure on the richmonds though maybe online from the states good AUD at the moment?

B4T,
Sean at LowRangeOffRoad sent me a richmond lockright p/n 1510 to my doorstep last week for about $290Aust I think. From memory was $199US plus $58US freight. Can't remember the exact exchange rate at the time. Turned up in 5 days. He does Toy and Jeep parts too.

G'day Jason,
I got my Richmond Lockrite from www.rocky-road.com.
Otherwise try www.lowrangeoffroad.com. They do Jeep, Zook and Toyota. The manager Sean has been really good to me and a lot of others off this site....great customer service. You should be able to land a locker to your doorstep easily for under 300 AUS I reckon.
I know your rear used to be welded....why don't you try a spool in the rear? they are about $100US?

For the love of god, PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THEM. Their service is worse than horrible. Honest to god I almost bought a plane ticket to the US just so I could smack them around their farking head.
I waited MONTHS and MONTHS to get a lockright and carrier shipped. Finally after 15 bullshit excuses one half of the package arrived. Not sure what I was supposed to do with it without the other half? So another month wait and the other half arrived.
Little did I know until the jeep was in pieces up on a hoist that they'd sent me the wrong farking carrier - and after all that didn't even apologise or try to make it good in anyway.

Cost me a lot extra and two weeks without my heep.
If you want to import from the US buy them from any other place, they're all pretty much the same price. Or speak to Wombat 4x4 in Ringwood, tipping they'll do a good price and they'll bend over backwards to help.
Just pleased don't use Rocky-Road. If you don't believe me, google them or check a few Jeep forums, I found out too late they're renowned for being useless.
Apparently people think I'm too patronising (that means I treat them like they’re stupid).
.
I bought a Lockright about two years ago for the front end of my GQ from these guys:
http://www.ringpinion.biz/
Cost me approx $400 to my door and their service was really good.
Cheers

Except spending $100US to get the same thing

For the record Rocky Road sent out the Lockrite with no problems. I read all about the issues other people had with them on Pirate later on and I wouldn't go recommending them...as I said previously www.lowrangeoffroad.com is reliable and has good prices.

Except the fact that if you want to get rid of it you don't have to buy another centre AND its not going to bust and send bits of metal flying all around your diff housing from dodgy welds creating carnage for your R&P and bearings etc...This happened to B4T a little while back.... 100 bucks well spent i reckon...But hey... its your choice...

You don't just tack the gears, you fill the farker up

Anyone wants one done, come share a beer, won't break it, just gears and axles

Wanted: Car trailer or beaver tail truck, let me know what you got
thanx guys. im gonna leave the rear welded and put the lockright in the front. them maybe later put one in the rear. im gonna beswapping diffs about as soon as i get the new ones so its a perfect time to put the locker in the front.
will send a few emails and get some confirmed prices and post them when i do.
cheers B4T
