What tank is above the trailing arms on a SWB GQ?

Nelso,
The Aux fuel tank gets very close and the upper arms some times hit. Either holes the tank or bends/breaks the arm.
Samething can happen on LWB's. Always thought it was more of an issue on big lifts though.

hey guys yeah the trailing arm hits the top of the tank and only needs 1" or maybe 1" & half more 4 it 2 miss.. cause its only got 2" body lift for the moment apart from that its completely stock i.. maybe more lift might solve this problem??? :?:

not unless you raise the tank to suit your body lift.. from memory the patrol's fuel tanks are bolted to the chassis.. ( someone correct me?? - going off memory of 3 years ago)

so bringing ya body lift wont clear the tank unless you make brackets to lift your fuel tank also.

My fuel tank I had was bolted to the body. I had 2 space it down 2" when I did my body lift.

Depends on the guys that did the gas install I guess.
