im in the same boat, im running 37inch pro comps, i dont really want to have to run in open, as i dont think my motor and suspension etc are up to open class. at willowglen when they put the 36.5 gauge around them there seemed to be a bit of a gap there so im hoping they can squash the 36 inch gauge around them. it will come down to a fanny hair. if they make me run in open i will. but id prefer to be in modified. see what happens on the day. im going to make a 36 inch gauge and experiment with pressures
If my gauge is over the 35inch mark your in open :D
WTF the rules say 36inch

There is no OFFICIAL party but I am sure you'll be able to pick up a beer or two with out any problem. You will find that the clubs camp in their own groups and intermingle. You have common ground with about 5 or 6 thousand people who attend over the weekend so I am sure some partying won't be hard to find.
By the way I am Wendy, I look after the competitors and you will be able to find me at 'Class verification' (better known as scuitinering) on Friday. Come say hello. I think you would take the award for most distance travelled.
You can be sure that I'll find you somewhere, it's just so great to see new off roaders and new kind of competition......hard to wait. Soon it's friday morning and we start our flight.....really long it take s a whole day to get there from here :D

I know this sounds really stupid to you, but is it safe to be sleeping in a tent? Come awn, i'm serious...... I'm so far away that for me it's really hard to know if that area has snakes, poison spiders etc........maybe even crocs ;) ;) Propably not those.....????

I also noticed this:

and this makes my holiday even better :D :D :D :D

Tent, swag matteress its all safe at this site.

You have more chance of a drunk tripping over you than a snake biting you while your sleeping..

watch out for the killer kolas but (just joking).

Everyone is normally in tents or swags or vans.

Don't laugh. Three years ago I was folding away the air mattress and found a rather small snake under it. A fellow took it home for his kids and later found out that although it was very young was still poison enough to knock a grown man off his feet. I would think this is an isolated case and they all move out for the weekend when we move in. I guess best advice would be zip the tent up when your not using it.
Do watch out for rather large bitting ants (Bull Ants). They hurt. Rest assured tho we have first aiders on duty all weekend.

Straight down the Putty Road would be the best from Newcastle.60 Km north of the Windsor Bridge.Hope this helps.

I would think from Newy to Cessnock, to Broke, To Milbrodale then down the Putty.

Well we are down to 5 sleeps till the event.
Was down at the site on the weekend putting the final touches to Wombats revenge...you should bring oxygen.. No No just kidding they are very driveable. All the courses have been bunted and score disks are up. Duckies Dam has been pumped out so again you won't need that oxygen.
Just to remind people if any paper work has been renewed since sending in the forms to bring them with you.
For those who don't know, the Riverside Caravan Park is closed so fuel is from the smaller petrol station a bit further and they also have limited supplies.
All we need to do is pray to the sun god to keep a steady appearance up all weekend and we all should have some fun.
