Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

This is the rating as taken from our club magazine-

EXTREME-
Off road bush terrain. Difficult creek crossings. Very steep inclines, declines, and very severe side slopes. Expect self recovery. Aggressive tyres and traction aids are a must. Low range capability is a must. Not for vehicles with low ground clearance or drivers who have not had at least 12 months enthusiastic experiance.

I dont think a winch is actually manditory(check this with the trip organiser once chris has added these details as it is his call) as long as you have another vehicle with you that is willing to help you out if you get stuck. The Logan club is not responsible for recoveries on this run. But yes Lockers are a must.

It’s best not to hope another vehicle will get you out. If you get off the main night run track/map (which is highly possible) and get lost, there maybe no one that comes along to assist.

Is this new to the Logan Club? I though when we spoke about it it sorta proved pointless because the insurance would be void on most cars anyway?

These are the rules that the club accepted earlier in the year.

are the logan club going to get permission to drive on some the land that they do? not sure on if they do or not, i've been on a couple trips and have seen alot of signs saying keep out. not sure that ctp will help if you have an acco on land that you shouldn't be on.

in saying that the extreme run last year was tops even if it took 2 runs to finish it.
cheers Pete.
