OEM 1HZ injectors

Post by me3@neuralfibre.com »

I just asked Toyota (motorama) for a quote on a new set of injectors (out of interest) for the '98 1HZ

It quotes
3 x 2360019075 @ $250ea
3 x 2360010095 @ $369ea

When I said WTF? I got "3 with white tops, 3 with brown tops"

WTF?

Thanx

That's a curly one. I'd be asking more questions about that.

Nope, that's correct for an auto HZJ105. Don't know why, but the front 3 cylinders get different injectors to the rear 3!

Anyhow, why would you price them from Toyota, just have your local diesel shop fit new nozzles, reset and you're good to go at much less $$$.
