Radius Arm Packers??? GQ

Post by dano80 »

I've spoken to a mate, and he says that u can pack out the front radius arm to move the arm further forward........has anyone had any experience with this?????? From what I heard the nominal distance to space out is about 12mm or something like that. Am fitting 35's eventually and wondered if this was an option for a little more clearance.

Cheers, Dano.

Yep. I had them fitted to my old shorty. I also had 35's.
You should be able get them from most 4b shops for approx $50-60. There pretty easy to fit. Just only do one arm at a time.
Also take the tie-rod off one side. Will make removing the arm much easier. May also pay to replace the bushes while you have the arm off.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY....
