what seat will fit in rear of fj40?

Post by rx7fj40 »

i have some of the original rear seats that come in the lx models but they are too wide to fit my roll bars around them.

does anyone know what other seats will fit easily between the wheel arches without to much fabrication?

thanks for you help

Not too sure if a Bundera rear bench seat will work, but i have one if need be, its a heavy bastard though, wouldnt be worth freighting around the countryside!

The original left side of the FJ40 split bench front seat fits neatly and will seat two people, it's not like you have to sit in it :)

in the older tubs the floor steps down and makes a good spot for small legs.

I have a small seatwise bench in the rear.

i've got one of those! i used to put it sideways up against the rollbar.. would suck for the passenger if we went over a bump with the hardtop on.. it only got used once..
