hi guys i am wanting to do some suspension work to my 84 lux i have heard about putting ifs rear in and the rears into the front is this correct if so what mods do you needs to do i can get a set of ifs rears for nothing so i thought this might be a cheap way to go

Hey mate do set up the rears in the front is easy...I did it to my 85 lux...


You will need a set of 2inch shackles if you dont already have some..When putting rears in the front it will move you diff foward 30 to 50mm foward so you will have to get front tail sharft modded so its longer... And this will all so rotate you diff down so bye your self a set of 5d castor plates to bolt to the springs witch that will bring your diff back up to the way it sits normally....


Here is 2 pics one for the shackle angle and one of how fare my diff move foward...I take some more for you tomorrow and post them up

Evil666 i take it you also went to a shorter draglink or shortend drop draglink and shorter or got rid of torque rod :?:

I went to a adjustable torque rod....
