to clarify i was looking at trailgears website and i asked them on a quote on their solid pinion spacer kit.
and they were not sure the 80 front diff in AUS was the same as the hilux hi pinion front in the states.
so i was just checking.
thats the reference he gave me, i thought it sounded like an ARB part number as i just got a rd33.
cheers.

dowsor, you made a solid spacer for the rear of your 80? or doesthe sahara have lsd front?

Nah, made a solid spacer for the front pinion bearings....strengthens the front diff, replaces the crushable spacer therefore stops crushing under hard reverse, which pulls the teeth into eachother for a munch......electric locker up there also which is sort of like a lsd housing with a huge bearing one end and a dog clutch inside it that locks the gears.
