Speedo Cable

Post by Bundy79 »

Hi all,

Just a quick question. the ole 86 bundy developed a clicking behind the dash that changed with the speed, then the clicking stopped and so did the speedo.

Is the speedo cable easy to replace? Any info would be appreciated as i don't want to just go diving in if it is a bit of a mongrel of a job.

Cheers

Shouldn't be to bad dash's are easy than there made out to be done a few at work now and pulling speedo's and so on out of clusters to send away and if it don't want to come loose look for more screws and look in the most stupid place they could put one and it'll be there. may even be able to do it with out pulling it out just feel up around that area for the cable and there just a basic clip.
plenty of parts on the bench
