it was in regard to the new bt50/ranger.

i'm not aware of how strong the front diff is but the rear is farily large. and good motors. no idea of g-box or front diff.

The previous model was renowned for the gear box going.
Not sure if the new model has the same box or not.

I had a 1999 model Bravo and had $13,000 worth of warranty repairs on it (no doubt a bit of driver error help this, all part of learning)

All said and done it will never be a hard core type of rig.
Something more suited to family camping/fishing/outback touring.

You need to asses hat you want from the rig and if it's really worth the effort.

Johnno.

(BTW, sorry have no info on the lift your talking about)

Tires are like boobs, they always look big until you have played with them for a while, then you just want a bigger set

Years ago I had a courier, tried to wheel it and it didn't go anywhere
welded the diff up and still didn't go anywhere, but it had a hydro tipper so it was great for dump runs :D

as for the 6" lift I'd like to see that
cheers Dan

The front diffs are very weak, add more than stock angle to the CV's/drive shafts and your asking for trouble

PS also change your tie rods NOW for better after market items!!!!!!!

he is talking about the kit that spaces the front diff down like the ifs skyjacker kits, but unless it gives you longer arms ,cvs and coilovers for the front you won't get anymore wheel travel at the front just height as you are limited by the torsion bars and drive shafts in a bravo. or it could possibly be a 3+3 kit,

any way search for the kits on the web , you can get them for older navaras , rodeos , mu's, and hilux's - mainly from the states.
