I am looking into getting airbags for my F150, so I can lower it to run 35's, or lift it to run 44's or more.
I currently have a 9" spring lift in it, and 3" bodylift in the front, and 6" in the rear, but need a few more inches in the front anyway.
If I replaced the front coils with 12 - 15" travel airbags, and replaced the rear leafpack with a mono leaf, and a pair of control arms, and put airbags between the rails and diff housing, I would think that would work.
Obviously, I would need some pretty special Tailshafts made up, that could cope with the lenght difference needed, but what other drama's would I have?
This is not a Comp truck, just a playtoy, probably won't spend too much time in the mud either!
Anyone want some 9" lift coils and leafs for F100? Brand new!
