Tdi Clutch woes

Post by max200tdi »

Has anyone got a decent clutch setup in a Tdi? Mine's gone after 12 months. One before didn't last that long either, but the original went 190,000 kms.

Apparently a custom multi-plate setup will be $2000-3000, or a button clutch could go in. Got a button in the race car - great for dropping the clutch off the line, but slipping it putting the car back on the trailer kills it. So a button's out.

Whats everyone else got?

Regards
