have just adapted a 700r to a hilux transfer case my self. Haven't had it out fro a good thrashing yet, but seems to hold up alright on the limited driving it has done.

What sort of terrain do you plan on driving with it? What size tyres do you plan on running? And what is the suspension set up?

Alot of it depends how you drive.
Are you one to let it bounce or do you back off if it starts to buck and kick?
If you let it buck etc then a hilux case will go bang, thow with the little pinions you are running I'd say they will bang before the t case in most cases.
