Rockcrawler Leaf Springs for Hilux
Has anyone got Rockcrawler Leaf Springs on their truck? I'm looking at replacing the rear set in my 95 Hilux with a set and was wondering if anybody has had good or bad experiences. They also have a 3 year/unlimited km warranty which is excellent.
Your truck looks different from that anglev6hilux wrote:Do you think I would need longer springs without a locker?Guts wrote:To get the rear end of a hilux to flex the springs need to be longer both in front of and behind the diff.

Had them in my first lux (83) and thought they were shit. Far too stiff. Flexed about as much as any 2" lift would but pretty rad to drive on the road through all the bouncing. Shocks were Rancho. This is only useful if your lux is for road driving, and if ya want flex don't buy an off the shelf 2" lift.
You'll find the parabloics ride hard over fast stuff road dirt tracks and so on but when it comes down the flexy stuff they'll be soft. My front end used to way out perform the rear now with RUF you can play around with it more and get it to even out but it depends how far you want to go.
plenty of parts on the bench
