An 8000lb low mount will be plenty enough winch for the Scooby. If you can;t buy an off the shelf unit from ARB or TJm either have a special bar made for it or just a special cradle to hold the winch but make sure it's sufficiently secured to the chassis rails.
TD 80 Series, F&R Lockers, Winch etc
Of course 24" tyres. They came with 23" tyres from factory. (155/75r13)
2" lift and a slight bit of trimming will fit something like 27" Khumo mud terrains. May need to go to a decent 3 or 4" to fit 29" swampers --- heh, if your that way inclinded. Poor old gearing will be stoofed but.
Me Brumby had a lil winch installed before I bought it. Must have been a real smallby winch though, coz dude just cut hole in aluminium bull bar and bolted it straight in behind it. It was pulled out and number plate screwed over the hole when I bought it.
8000lb winch would lift Sube into a tree (see Gods must be crazy movie).
Definately needs a decent plate bolted back to bumper bar/bull bar chassis mounting points. Would also definately be custom made. But seeings how I am only two month late at typing this, you've probably already done and finished it. If so, got pics?
