i just got some 35s for my 2oo tdi defender and no one i call has 4.11 ring and pinions for a sialsbury can someone help

will a 4.7.1 from a series 3 fit a 110 salisbury

4.7 from a series will fit but you need the complete centre (flange is in a different spot). Will probably be too low a ratio for you.

Otherwise you can get a 4.11 R&P Dana 60 ring and pinion, but you need to buy a few special bearings and make a custom propshaft flange.

Thats it Dana 60 stuff but the prop needs an open style uni joint on it

i can get a dana 60 r&p new for 200 bucks where can i get the prop made and is that all i need apparently gbr in the us make a straight fit 4.11 does anyone know much about them

great basin rovers make a 4.1 for the 3.5 Salisbury and its only $550 aud but also kam diffs make a 3.8 they claim to be 70% stronger then standard for $700 aud what would be the better choice?

Best bet would be to contact Keith at rovertracks (posts on here sometimes as Revor). He can give you all the advice you need and should be able to sell you the bits you need for a good price.

I havent contacted GBR yet but I think their 110 sets are Dana60, the part code has D60 in it, there is a note to contact for further info. Dana 60 gears are easy to get from the states, summitracing.com have them from $185US.
