Dual T/Cases - Which Drive Shaft???

Hi Guys,

91' dual cab hilux using IFS rears (axle moved back)
I have dual transfer cases and just wanted to know if i will need a custom drive shaft or if something will just bolt up?
What has everyone else done?

You will have to get your rear shaft shortend and front lengthend to suit.
Make the rear a single piece if you havent already. I just run a boxed front shaft in mine, very cheap and strong, but if you want to drive it on the beach use tube and balance it up.

I already have the box front and i do drive it on the beach.

I was deffinately going to a single shaft but didn't know if something would just bolt up or if a need a custom one

you will need a custom one unless someone has a second hand one.

What's the distance between flanges?? I have a four runner one that would have fit my dual transfer setup with the rear diff 1" back. Let me know the distance and I'll see what I've got.

145 cm between flanges at the moment

Diff to move back another 2.5 cm with axle relocation plate

17 cm of extra T/Case (measured from the start of the twin case adapter to the end of the second case)

I don't know what that will all end up resulting in a final distance

The one I've got is off an RV6. Only got the long part with the male spline. It is 113cm from flange to the end of the spline. Someone stole my sleeve at the last Comp.
