My SD33T is in need of a nice new zorst system shortly.....
What zorsts have u guys put on your SD33T for a nice note?
i really love the TD whistle and want it nicely heard within noise regs...
Do the turbos keep it quiet enough to not run a muffler?

A mate of mine has a 4.2TD with a 3 inch exhaust with no muffler and it produces a sweet note with the tubo through the gear changes.
a way to do it is to get a plate welded just after the dump pipe and keep the old exhaust with the muffler and get an identical plate welded on that end as well. Then if you get pulled over for some reason and it gets pulled, its a simple case of replacing the two, getting it inspected, then changing back to the muffler free pipe

i ran patroldudes 3 inch and was sweet. No i have a 2and a bit inch and was wisper quiet and was not much power. I cut it in half and now goes good again but a bit noisy/
IF you want it and join it back up it can be arranged as soon as i mod the 3 inch again to clear another fuel tank.
Ask anyone who has heard my swb with the 3inch or this one with half an exhaust will say it sounds like a kenny but its on a long drive

MINE but i've got a 1.5m ish muffler section ready to bolt in/out rather than the whole thing.aidannorris wrote:A mate of mine has a 4.2TD with a 3 inch exhaust with no muffler and it produces a sweet note with the tubo through the gear changes.

My pipe on the old rig, Its short but loud can hear the whistle before anything else. Its still got the std dump then 2&half pipe straight. It only ended up like this after the L28 came out and the diesel went in. Have no real reason y its like this Its tucked up near the LHS chassie rail just in front of the LHR tyre
Although not legal on out the passender side. Building up a shute will just have two 4" stacks.. Go the 3" straight through but
