tough dog suspension in a lux???

Hey guys,
Im upgrading my suspension(everything shocks,leafs,damper etc..)
I just wanna know if tough dog gear is good in lux's?
Ive asked a few mates and they rekon its shit in hilux's and they have reconmended rancho,ome etc..

The gear is for a 91 hilux dual cab...

so if any1 has used tough dog in a lux ild like too hear how it went...

Done 5 or 6 brand new Hiluxs with it and they are beautiful. Haven't done an older one with it yet but got one coming up soon, i can't see any problems other then making sure you match the correct shocks etc for the application.

I'm looking at new shocks too, heading for rancho 9000x adjustables, a few ppl have said that tough dog can be overkill for the lightweight lux's, where as in patrols n stuff ranchs are underdone and you need the tough dogs.

^^^^ thats what all me mates have said.i wouldnt mind rancho's, there a good shock,but i like tough dog..

mate forget tough dog in ya lux, they are tooo heavy duty for ya lil truck. patrols and cruisers are over two ton versus a 1700kg lux. ive got rancohs up fromt and they did a worly of wonder and with the bumpstops set up properly omg does she have some flex

Hilux's that are solid axle through to the last of the IFS's are great with the ranchos 5000 and 9000x's. If you have the new model with the struts the bilsteins seem to be better, talk to cal offroad or Superior engineering about the options they both have done many kits.

Tough Dog 35mm Adjustables are fine in a Hilux.
