When the RB 30s came up a cuppla years ago ....my local dealer said they ranged from $8-11000 depending on wether yu wanted everything ...or less stuff.

ZD30's were $7k last time they were available.. I'd say $9k for that and round same for 4.2 - and more again for Turbo mod.

they were a bit over 7 when dad found out his ZD30 was fubar (no, it didnt grenade, just fucked compression across the board) cost him as much to rebuild as it was going to buy a new motor.
but that included new glowplugs, resleeving bore, new head etc
