yep, it was only a joke! :?

I know free stuff and payed for stuff takes as long as each other. I was trying to emphasise that free stuff seems to take longer cause you're all the more keen to get it on your truck.

Ive got the 4.7 gears and i have to say that chris and dave went above and beyond for me.

When i stripped my case down, she was stuffed, so i decided to get lower gears. Because i hadnt decided to get bigger tyres at this stage, i only wanted a 4.0:1 reduction, So i tried marks- No go, 6-8 month wait on gears from the US.

So i tried Locktup- They didnt have any in stock, but said that they can get them from the US for me for about $600- told them to go ahead and get them.

Little while later chris gets in touch with me and says that the guy who makes the 4.0:1 gears for advanced adaptors had died, and they had scoured most of the Hilux parts shops in the US trying to find a pair for me with no luck.

They then got me a set of the 4.7:1 gears, and had them to me within a week, and arranged for me to get the difference in cash back.

Massive thumbs up for the guys- and i will be ordering a set of rock ring felt protectors off you tomorrow if i remember! :D
